A film directed by Angelo Antonucci Set during the Italian Risorgimento, the film follows the extraordinary life of Goffredo Mameli, poet, patriot, and author of the lyrics of "Fratelli d'Italia", Italy's national anthem. Through his ideals, his love, and his fight alongside Giuseppe Mazzini and Giuseppe Garibaldi, Mameli dedicates his life to the dream of a united and free Italy. Mortally wounded during the defense of the Roman Republic, he dies at just twenty-one, leaving behind a timeless legacy of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.
